About Us

Thin Book Publishing Co. was founded in 1997 to create 'just in time' cutting edge knowledge for our organizational clients. The early success of The Thin Book of® Appreciative Inquiry, with sales now in excess of 200,000 copies, inspired us to dedicate ourselves to creating practical 'thin books' as a way to help organizational members understand how organizations can become more successful. Thin Book Publishing currently has three books in print and four e-books.

Thin Book Publishing was founded by Sue Annis Hammond. Sue has completed a Master’s of Organizational Development at Bowling Green Graduate School of Business, where she was the 1991 Minninger Foundation Fellow. She also holds a B. A. and M. A. in English. She spent ten years as an internal training and development consultant at Meredith Corporation and The Principal Financial Group. She has over thirty years of external consulting experience in a wide variety of Fortune 500 companies including JC Penney, American Airlines, Bell Helicopter, City of Dallas, Mary Kay, Coca-Cola, Pearson, and Sprint.
